El derecho dicta que era un refugiado, acreedor de una debida protección. Pero la norma es tan sólo una convención. Y con ella en la mano no pudo cruzar la alambrada.

Él era abogado en su Siria natal. Defensor de los derechos humanos. Llegado su turno, a él no lo amparó nadie.
Hoy descansa bajo la tierra del campo de Idomeni, en Grecia, lejos de su hogar. Pero sigue siendo acreedor de un derecho: el derecho a no ser olvidado.
