Entonces su madre le dijo que la Justicia era ciega y Elías retomó su vocación. Lo contrataban mucho para la defensa de familiares de víctimas de viudas negras. Ganaba siempre porque no sucumbía a los encantos visuales de las féminas. Hasta aquel día en que la mujer se introdujo con él en el ascensor y, cogiéndole las manos, las guio por las curvas de su cuerpo. La Justicia será ciega, pero conserva el gusto, el oído, el olfato, y sobre todo, el tacto, dicen que murmuró satisfecho, cuando perdió su primer caso.
