Gabriel Pérez Martínez El fiscal pretendía que el caso se dilucidase con un careo rápido, pero mi defendido –el “influencer” más afamado del país– insistió en que resultaba imprescindible ir a juicio, solicitando que se transmitiera online, vía YouTube. Alegaba que era la única forma de reparar el daño infringido a su imagen y como ya había un precedente (el caso de Kim Schmitz, dueño de Megaupload), el juez aceptó.
Para que sus seguidores se familiarizaran con la terminología jurídica, mi cliente me pidió que elaborase una guía que comenzó a utilizar en los diferentes vídeos donde él era el único protagonista. Respecto a mí, intenté pasar desapercibido. Mi único interés era conseguir la absolución. Ganamos.
Ahora, hay adolescentes que me señalan por la calle y me sonríen. Muchos quieren ser abogados. Y defenderse a sí mismos.
