Hasta el más allá

Postrado en su cama, la vida del viejo abogado se disipaba. Sus ojos fatigados observaban con resignada decepción una pequeña cesta saturada de medicamentos. Su rostro mortecino era un magnífico prototipo para elaborar un perfecto tatuaje macabro. En todo él se podía adivinar sin lugar a dudas que el inclemente cáncer le había sentenciado a muerte por caducidad. Pero ni siquiera ésta terrible adversidad le impediría ejercer lo que en vida se le había otorgado. Lo seguiría haciendo con férrea voluntad y justicia hasta en el más allá. Ordenó entonces que le vistieran con premura y con su mejor toga. Debía presentarse y se presentaría ante el Mismísimo Todo Poderoso para acusarle y obligarle a terminar con tanta crueldad y tanta injusticia.
Pero lamentablemente todo hace pensar, puesto que todo sigue igual, que el Misísimo Todo Poderoso lo mandó a hacer puñetas.
