Nunca olvido
Jesús Urbano Sojo Mi primera decepción como abogado fue defendiendo a un violento atracador, apodado Jack el frutero. Mi falta de experiencia había hecho que no supiera llevar bien el juicio y perdiera.
Recuerdo su mirada asesina, despidiéndose de mí:
-Corbatitas- me dijo irónicamente- se ha ido todo a hacer puñetas por tu culpa, pero soy yo quien pasará varios años en prisión. Te daré un consejo sin fecha de caducidad: vigila bien tu espalda. Yo nunca olvido.
Mientras veía cómo se lo llevaban, me fijé en el tatuaje de su espalda: una manzana con una serpiente.
Han pasado dieciocho años y ahora me viene a la mente este recuerdo porque, al llegar a casa, he encontrado una cesta de fruta sobre la mesa de la cocina. Mi mujer dice que un amable repartidor la ha dejado para mí, con una nota: «tus últimas piezas de fruta».

Felicidades, me encanta ese tono de novela negra que edulcoras -un poquitín- con la cesta de frutas. A mí me ha parecido un micro bueno, qué digo bueno, buenísimo.
Jack el frutero nunca olvida y con tipos como ese lo mejor es pasar de largo.
