Belén Basarán Conde Recuerdo que sus primeros tatuajes fueron unas grecas en las muñecas que semejaban puñetas de toga. Acabábamos de empezar a estudiar Derecho. Creíamos en la Justicia y nada hacía presagiar su futuro infortunio, el presente.
Hoy acudo a visitarlo con noticias. Vacío mis bolsillos en la cesta, atravieso el arco detector de metales y me dirijo a la sala de entrevistas. Ya me espera con una sonrisa, esperanzado e inmune a otra decepción, preguntándome con la mirada.
—¡Por fin! Eres inocente. Y libre —le anuncio sacudiendo en el aire la sentencia de casación—. Lo siento por estos meses…
—Chsss. —Me silencia con un abrazo y me mira a los ojos—: Con un buen abogado la verdad no tiene fecha de caducidad y acaba prevaleciendo, aunque hasta entonces el proceso sea un poco indigesto.
Al separarnos miro sus brazos y reparo en algo nuevo: una balanza y un búho.
