HISTORIAS DE MAR
CARMEN ANDREY MARTIN Un buen día decidí ir más allá de mi donación anual. Salir de detrás del teclado de mi ordenador y hacer cosas buenas. Pero buenas de verdad. Sin nada más que debatir.
Y aquí estoy desde entonces, aunque no es fácil. Continuamente veo pasar chicas de rostros famélicos y pienso: «No más víctimas de trata. Por favor». Llega una pequeña con las mejillas blanquecinas, fruto del exceso de salitre y del horror vivido. Al parecer, ningún otro síntoma. Cruzo los dedos.
Bien. Es mi turno. Conseguiré que, dentro de un tiempo, estas niñas no vean muerte al mirar esas aguas azules. Verán esperanza. Renacimiento. Sé que el mar puede hacerlo. O, mejor dicho, LA mar. ¡Ja! Sonrío con mi propia broma mental. No me permitiré perder el sentido del humor, nunca. Tiendo mi mano en señal de bienvenida.
