Mikel Aboitiz A la primera oportunidad, y sin género de dudas, el empresario López, haciendo gala de un refinado estilo olímpico, se salta la barrera de la legalidad al difamar en público a su rival, el comerciante Estrada. Alarmado, Torres, segundo socio de López, recurre como mediador a Ríos, tercera pata de la firma, quien, incapaz de conciliar ambos bandos, recomienda a Arranz, oscuro personaje, especialista a partes iguales en terapias de pareja y vudú haitiano. A su vez, la secretaria Díaz, cuenta a su novio Octavio todo este desbarre. Octavio, ortopeda y gran aficionado a los crucigramas, la escucha atento, anotando metódico en cada línea de un cuadernillo todos los nombres, el suyo incluído (López, Estrada, Torres, Ríos, Arranz, Díaz, Octavio) uno bajo el otro. Cuando acaba, se palmea las piernas triunfal, exclamando: «¡Increíble, justo lo que necesitáis tenía que aparecer aquí! Es de sentido común. Lee el acróstico vertical».

Muy muy muy ocurrente. Por supuesto que necesitarán un abogado; uno cada uno. Saludos y mucha suerte con este relato tan divertido.
The first three 5516s were produced without a leap-year indication and actually looked quite a bit different from each link other. The earliest on the record (below, right) informs many design elements found on the early Royal Oak QPs; with a four-register layout, moon-phase at six, the month indication at twelve, and a sub-dial at three for the date. Pay particular notice to the lack of a leap-year indication, as this is the genesis of the layout we will see nearly 40 years later for the Royal Oak.
That’s what really gives a character watch its magic. Sure, you can just stamp a low-res picture of Spider-Man or Captain Kirk, or Richard Nixon for that matter, onto a dial, but that’s a poster stuck up on a dorm link wall, not a character watch. It might scratch the itch for you if you’re a superfan, but without the animation of the hands that bridges, however crudely, the gap between the static image and the animated character, all you’ve got is a picture on the dial.
