Es tal el dolor, Señoría, que a veces no duele. Es como la nostalgia, una enorme tristeza con la que uno ha de convivir con los años y nos hace trágicamente iguales entre las víctimas. Hay en los seres una maravillosa oportunidad de ser diferentes, una sutura en la que algunos, sin embargo, sólo ven una barrera. Si no he sido capaz de confesar hasta ahora tanto maltrato y vejación es justamente por eso, por la extraña necesidad que tenemos las mujeres de comprender al otro, de perdonar todos sus golpes, su cólera, y vivir con las heridas abiertas como si fuera un rasgo normal de nuestro género. Pero hoy, Señoría, entiendo que esa ignorancia era también una forma de someterme, de conciliar dolor y apariencia, sólo un sueño donde ir plantando día a día la semilla de la violencia.
