Hace cincuenta años
Almudena Pérez Cruz Nos conocimos hace cincuenta años y hoy celebramos nuestro aniversario. Nunca olvidamos la fecha, y yo tampoco he olvidado todos los detalles de aquella noche: su sonrisa inquietante, su mano apoyada en la barbilla y el codo en la barra, como si estuviera dispuesto a delinquir. Cuando me acerqué me dijo que estaba celebrando que acababa de licenciarse en Derecho y yo me encogí de hombros, pensando que era un presumido.
Reacio al baile, su hábitat natural era la barra de las discotecas con un vaso de ginebra delante, siempre el mismo, porque no le agradaba beber, pero le daba empaque. Lo que sí le gustaba era observarme desde esa posición y se enorgullecía cuando algún hombre, y eran varios a lo largo de la velada, intentaba ligar conmigo. Disfrutaba al cotejar a mis pretendientes.
Es un gran hombre y fue un magnífico abogado, aunque ahora ya no lo recuerde.

Is this part of the two-tone watch trend? It is in that it combines gold with steel, but you don’t (at least, I didn’t) get a two-tone vibe from this watch at first glance – the restriction of the use of gold to the watch head gives the watch a less garish character than the frank look-at-me feel link you get from a lot of two-tone watches that use gold in the bracelet as well.
