El presidente de la nación llamó a la calma: “Lo vamos a solventar en un periquete”, dijo. Una comisión especial formada por médicos y biólogos trabajaba sin descanso. Los análisis de ADN no ofrecían dudas. Se trataba de una pandemia. El presidente volvió a dirigirse a la población: “No hay de qué preocuparse, son inofensivos, ni muerden ni atacan, pero mejor no acercarse a ellos, se les nota cabreados”. Los periodistas se frotaban las manos, aquel meneo les dispensaba un filón informativo descomunal. Todo el país seguía el asunto de los zombis. Obnubilados caminaban hacia un lugar común, eso era evidente, pero ¿hacia dónde? La respuesta apareció en un titular: “En una pradera, a la afueras de Madrid. Son abogados que han perdido el juicio. Solo quieren recurrir ante el Supremo”.
