Almudena Pérez Cruz Después del divorcio, se apresuró a buscar un trabajo. Tenía tres niños y no podía esperar que se agotara la prestación que cobraba tras el despido en aquella empresa asfixiante y familiar.
Elena conocía bien al padre de sus hijos y sabía de su escaso compromiso a la hora de cumplir con las obligaciones. Desestimó las voces consejeras que le decían que no tuviera prisa, que podía reclamar una pensión compensatoria, y se puso en marcha. Muy pronto encontró, con ayuda de su abogada de oficio, un trabajo en el que no ganaba mucho, pero le podría servir para empezar.
Se trataba de impartir en un colegio dos clases diarias a estudiantes con dificultades de aprendizaje. Desempolvó sus apuntes, mostró su agradecimiento a aquella hada madrina, por la resolución del contencioso y por el trabajo, y se dispuso a correr con un objetivo en mente: ser feliz como una campeona.

The colorful Schumacher watches did indeed feature the «checkered flag» seconds track, but the orange and maroon accents of the original ’68 Speedmaster Racing were absent. In the year 2000, this link design feature reemerged, however. A limited edition of 6,000 pieces was released as ref. 3518.50.00. It still fell into the Speedmaster Reduced family, but it was visually much closer to the racing dials of yore.
